Very clean
The place was very clean. There are some lovely restaurants a short drive away. The shop next door has everything you may have forgotten at home. The host was very responsive. The beds were comfy and the water pressure is out of this world
Lovely place
Lovely place to stay. Easy train ride to Edinburgh. Aberdour a nice village with a beach, a castle and walks. Will stay again if in the area.
Great find
What a lovely little find - a great little place in a quiet village by the sea and only a 30 minute trip in to Edinburgh (the kids loved going over the bridges!) Gertrude couldn't have been more helpful, the accomodation was exactly as advertised and great value. We'll be back again to explore more of the local area - we wanted to be in the centre of Edinburgh but this feels like the way to do it, especially with convenient and free on-street parking. Would highly recommend - we all loved staying here. Thanks Gertrud!
